McDonough, GA, United States Job Description Division: Learning & Performance Services and School Reports To: Principal FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Salary Schedule: SS3-2 Work Days: 220 Prepare reports using local, state, and national assessment data as it relates to individual student performance and school improvement. Perform data entry for state and local reporting purposes, ensuring data is accurate and complete. Develop and maintain historical student and school data files to monitor and track performance. Compile data from multiple assessments to develop student, subject, grade-level, or school achievement profiles. Prepare assessment data for administrators and teachers, support planning of Continuous School Improvement action steps and Strategic Plan Tactics. Assist with the preparation of staff training in the use of data to improve student outcomes. Ensure the validity of all data presented to staff. Maintain integrity of confidential information related to students and staff. Collaboratively work with the District and School Performance Department and other divisions. Attend and participate in assigned meetings, trainings, and workshops. Create user-friendly reports to assist stakeholders. Follow professional practices consistent with local school and system policies. Work directly with school leadership to ensure school improvement efforts align with Henry’s Strategic Actions. Support the schools in executing the district process for consistently monitoring the progress of students. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of a High School Diploma or state-approved High School Equivalency (HSE), required. Experience preparing academic data to impact instruction and school strategic planning. Knowledge of data processing software. Ability to design and format data files and tables, and to modify and update structures. Exceptional integrity, commitment to confidentiality, excellent character, and strong professional reputation. 6. Ability to abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators. Must be regularly, predictably, and reliably at work. Ability to be present at the physical worksite. Must be able to properly and consistently supervise students, particularly during emergency situations. Must perform tasks involving prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting. Must perform routine physical activities such as bending and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
