Aon is looking for a Senior Pharmacy Consultant

The Senior Pharmacy Consultant provides pharmacy strategy, financial and clinical consulting for employers across all pharmacy solutions including the coalition product. Focused on new sales, upselling to existing clients and client service delivery of purchased services.

This is a hybrid role requiring presence in the office 3 days per week.

What the day will look like:
  • Consulting for Employer RFPs, Pharmacy Directorship consulting, Market Checks, Pharmacy Audit work, and ad hoc work
  • Individual will lead client engagements (Senior Consultant level role), or provide critical input to project leads (Consultant level role)
  • Individual will be expected to have client facing experience and expertise
  • Client-facing and direct interaction with PBM's
  • This role leads meetings and speaks to our clients, in some cases running the pharmacy engagement, serving as client-facing SME, and articulating the results from projects and messaging key industry updates
  • Experience in running PBM request for proposals (RFP) on behalf of clients is a plus, but not required
  • Experience reviewing contracts employers hold with PBMs is a plus, but not required
  • Experience leading pharmacy audit report read-outs to employer clients is a plus, but not required
  • Build a deep knowledge of the competitive PBM landscape to analyze and interpret market and industry trends; provide insight to the team and other key internal partners regarding opportunities for service and product innovation
  • Deliver solutions that exceed the expectations of our clients
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
  • 4+ years of Pharmacy benefit experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral presentation skills
  • Ability to manage expectations and understanding all levels
  • Ability to run our less-complex projects independently
  • Ability to travel periodically around 10%-15%

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $92,000 - $130,000.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
