About the Role We’re hiring a Photographer Assistant who brings energy, confidence, and heart to the table. This role is designed for someone ready to learn our signature style, master the craft of portrait photography, and eventually step into a Lead Photographer position. You will support in‑session photography, manage technical workflows, and gain hands‑on experience while developing into a trusted leader in the studio. If You’re Someone Who Gets excited about helping others feel seen and celebrated Thrives in fast‑paced environments where excellence is expected Loves kids, pets, and all the beautiful chaos they bring Is achievement‑oriented and hungry to grow into a lead role You’ll Be Responsible For Assisting the photographer in setting up lights, equipment, and posing areas Helping direct families, children, and pets during sessions with warmth and patience Supporting image downloads, culling, and file workflows on MacOS systems Learning and practicing our signature posing and lighting techniques Representing our luxury brand with professionalism and polish at all times Being a collaborative, accountable teammate who uplifts the studio culture Stepping into more leadership responsibilities as your skill and confidence grow Who Thrives In This Role Someone who can adapt, smile, and troubleshoot all at once A natural people‑person who puts clients at ease quickly Comfortable learning technical skills and taking direction while building independence Achievement‑oriented with the drive to step into leadership Physically able to lift 50+ pounds (we work hard and stay active on set!)
