Join to apply for the News Photographer role at KUTV 2News / KMYU KUTV is looking for a creative and dedicated full-time News Photographer! We seek someone who can see beyond the lens and bring back compelling stories. The candidate should have two years of ENG experience with a network affiliate news organization. Responsibilities include covering day-to-day general, in-depth features, and investigative assignments. We shoot in full High-definition (HD) on media cards and edit on desktops and laptops. Strong editing skills in non-linear edit systems, excellent people skills, a strong work ethic, and a great attitude are essential. A passion for storytelling is vital. Requirements Be an aggressive team player capable of producing good stories under tight deadlines Degree in Journalism or a related field preferred Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to operate ENG news vehicles At least one year of shooting experience and technical knowledge of editing and photo equipment Ability to edit and shoot general assignment stories, live shots, and natural sound packages Ability to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds regularly To be considered, include a link to your online demo reel.
