What You’ll Do In a nutshell, you’ll harness the power of multimedia and graphic design to enhance the impact of our technology initiatives and how we portray them to the world. Here’s how you’ll make an impact : Research, design and develop multimedia content for new and existing technology programs. Create and edit videos and graphic design materials, including storyboarding and filming. Write and record audio scripts. Collaborate with subject-matter experts and business partners on creative projects. Ensure that content aligns with Cox brand guidelines. Conduct in-depth research for multimedia content. Drive innovation and process improvement in multimedia solutions. Identify cross-departmental opportunities for multimedia content. Evaluate content performance and identify opportunities using quantitative and qualitative data. Deliver formal and informal presentations. Attend training sessions and stay up to date on technical information, tools and industry trends. Who You Are You’re a collaborative and service-oriented team player who approaches their work with creativity and empathy in equal measure. You know how to turn complexity into beautiful, easy-to-understand concepts. Here’s more on what you bring to the table : Minimum : 3+ years of multimedia production experience with a portfolio that demonstrates current industry trends and techniques. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other multimedia tools for motion graphics. A strong grasp of web-based technologies and multimedia design. Experience with visualization, storyboarding, editing, animation, typography, color theory, photography and design layout. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to manage multiple projects from concept to delivery under tight deadlines. The ability to pivot quickly in response to changing conditions and expedited processes. Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Microsoft Word. Preferred : A bachelor’s degree in multimedia development, film, graphic design, media communications, marketing or a related discipline. Experience in customer service and / or the telecommunications industry. Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams, including third-party vendors. A track record of effectiveness within a large organization. Excellent planning, presentation and meeting management skills. A strong sense of design and aesthetics. A strong work ethic with a great attitude, with the ability to adjust to changing targets and updating requests. Powerful intuition and empathy, with the ability to see things from varying perspectives and find consensus. Basic knowledge of user experience best practices.
