Role- VMware Architect
Location- Remote
o Design a VCF 9 based modern private cloud in accordance to customer technical and business requirements. This includes virtual compute, network, storage, automation and operations platform
o Collaborate with stakeholders to develop additional service offerings for the catalog to better address business needs and provide a more public cloud-like experience for users
o Conduct a tool rationalization investigation to simplify operations, eliminate redundancy, and identify opportunities for integration among existing tools to drive efficiencies
o Recommended VMware security standards/hardening configuration for VCF
o Strong knowledge of Automation and knows how to do some level of custom integrations, and has worked with the SNOW integration
o Knowledge of VCF Automation, not just vRealize Automation 8. If they know VCF Automation, they will know All Apps vs VM Apps (using Supervisor cluster)
o Ensure that all VMs are managed through VCF Automation to ensure governed access to vSphere, improve security, and facilitate the ability to provide automated Day 2 services for users.
